You are visiting Playfulpaws, a small Purebred Pedigree Ragdoll Cattery – located in Tauranga, in the sunny Bay of Plenty.

Playfulpaws is a New Zealand Registered Breeder of Blue Eyed Pedigree Ragdoll Kittens, committed to raising Ragdolls to the worldwide recognised standard.  As such, we are a  Registered Ragdoll Breeder with Catz Inc – the friendly cat club.

You can be assured that all kittens are raised in a home environment, toilet trained and well handled before being re homed at 12 weeks of age.  The kittens home environment includes the company of two pedigree miniature poodles.

We currently have Daisy & Pip, two young Retirees available for re homing.

For those new to Ragdolls, they are well known for their calm disposition compared to most cats. However, Ragdolls have a more dependent (on humans) personality than other cats do.  Ragdolls prefer to be near people as much as possible and enjoyed being doted on. Likewise, they adore being handled.

We breed only a small number of Ragdoll kittens each year, so kittens can be raised in our home and given lots of attention, which results in excellent temperaments.  This also provides the kittens with confidence and to more easily socialise them into family life.

Our colours are Seal, Blue, Lilac and Chocolate, with patterns of Bi Colour, Mitted, and Colour Point.

This website is primarily devoted to providing you with information on looking after Ragdolls, and secondly providing kittens to approved homes, both in New Zealand and Internationally.
