Breeding Girls

The girls are kept in the house from mid pregnancy until the kittens are ready for weaning – around 6 weeks.   The kittens are brought up in the house, ensuring the kittens provided with socialisation with humans, the ability to mix with each other and other pets.

ACCOMMODATION
In the off season, the girls are rotated between the house and the Girls House – which is generously sized at 2.4m x 3.6m.  All the outside cat accommodations have a substantial platforms, cat walks, etc to relax on, view and explore.

Any pregnant girls are always kept in the house – with their own secluded area to give birth in. They all love letting you know when it is time to give birth, just so you can be on hand for the proud moment – even if it is in the very early hours of the morning!

Sometimes, after 4 – 5 weeks, with mothers that get on well together, they will often share in each others mothering duties.

Chocolate Colour point

Latte can sometimes be a right madam, keeping the other cats in line, but becomes a real smoocher when visitors arrive.
